The Peninsula is for those who enjoy privacy and seclusion in a magical setting. The property’s wilderness and wildlife are yours to explore and absorb, surrounded by the magnificent waters of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel and Port Esperance Bay.

The Peninsula occupies some 250 acres on Esperance Point, locally known as ‘Blubber Head’, including a 50 acre Crown Reserve at the head of the peninsula. The property commands 360 degree views encompassing sweeping water vistas across the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, to the Huon River and Bruny Island in the east and across the beautiful Port Esperance Bay to the snow capped mountains of the Hartz Range and the South West Wilderness Reserve.

Use your private peninsula as a base to explore Tasmania’s ‘Far South’ while you enjoy this unique accommodation. The peninsula is home to a rich diversity of Tasmanian wildlife including bandicoots, wallabies, devils, echidnas and wombats, along with our resident eagles and over 70 bird species including the endangered Swift Parrot.

We’re pleased to announce that our walking track network is now complete! Over 8 kilometers of walking tracks visit a range of habitats from dry sclerophyll forest, through buttongrass heathland and tea tree wetlands to rocky shore platforms.
